Regarding the Merco ESG Responsibility global ranking, on this occasion and for the fifth consecutive year, it is led by Grupo Social Once (1st), followed by Inditex (2nd), Mercadona (3rd), Ikea (4th), Mapfre (5th), Caixabank (6th), Mutua Madrileña (7th), Iberdrola (8th), Mahou San Miguel (9th), and Leroy Merlin (10th), which complete the top ten positions in the overall ESG ranking.

The ranking was compiled with the participation of 1,372 executives, 78 CSR experts, 81 financial analysts, 62 economic and social journalists, 124 members of “Government,” 100 NGO leaders, 75 union leaders, 60 consumer association leaders, 103 social media managers, 4,750 citizens, as well as the latest edition of Merco Talent (53,214 people in the sample) and Merco Digital (in collaboration with Nethodology), which analyzes publications and conversations generated on social media. In addition, objective indicators in different dimensions, provided by 83 companies, were studied.
