What is Merco?
Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) is the corporate monitor reference in Latin America that has been evaluating the reputation of companies since 2000. It is a reputational evaluation instrument launched in 2000, based on a multistakeholder methodology composed of six evaluations and more than twenty information sources.
It is the first audited monitor in the world, since the monitoring and verification of its production process and results is subject to an independent review by KPMG, according to the ISAE 3000 standard, which publishes its opinion for each edition. All the weighting criteria are public and they can be consulted on this website.
International expansion
Merco currently produces eight monitors (Merco Companies, Merco Leaders, Merco ESG Responsibility, Merco Talent, Merco University Talent, Merco Society, Merco Digital and the Health Reputation Monitor) and has a presence in more than nineteen countries: Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Uruguay, Portugal, Italy, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Paraguay. And in process in other countries like the United States.
